A recent poll conducted by Quinnipiac University revealed that the cost of living will be a top issue in the 2026 elections in Pennsylvania. In a recent poll of registered voters in the state, 74% percent said the economy, and 73% said the cost of living were their top concerns.
Notably, 44% of poll respondents said that they are financially worse off now than they were one year ago, with over half of respondents saying they think the economy is worse overall.
Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy stated that “Many Pennsylvania voters are looking at their finances, flashing back to July of last year and seeing slippage.”
