Election integrity is a key pillar of our America, and we support policies which increase the transparency and security of our electoral process.
This week, committees in both the Arizona House and Senate will each listen to proposed pieces of legislation related to securing our elections.
The Arizona Legislature is considering two mirror constitutional resolutions: HCR 2001 in the House and SCR 1001 in the Senate. Both measures passed committee hearings on January 23, 2026, and have passed each chamber. Now, the House version goes to the senate and the Senate version goes to the House.
Our activists in Arizona have previously testified in support of both pieces of legislation.
We ask that our supporters in Arizona take action! Here’s how you can get in touch with our state officials.
- Support SCR 1001 – The Arizona Secure Elections Act
SCR 1001 is being heard in the House Federalism, Military Affairs & Elections Committee at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 18th. Click here to contact your senator! - Support HCR 2001- Protect Arizona’s Elections
HCR 2001 is being heard in the Senate Judiciary and Elections Committee at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th Click here to contact your representative!
If passed, both pieces of legislation would allow voters in 2026 to put several new stipulations into the Arizona Constitution.
This includes ensuring only citizens can vote, improving voter ID requirements, and creating stricter rules around early voting.
Thank you in advance, and please be sure to pass this along to family and friends who are Arizona residents so they can make their voice heard.
