Here is what a vote for Congressman Juan Ciscomani in Arizona Congressional District 6 means, based on who he is, what he has done and what he stands for.

Public Safety

On public safety, Congressman Ciscomani secured $4.2 million in Community Project Funding to replace aging Tucson Police Department vehicles and about $810,000 for Sahuarita Police Department radios. He sponsored and supported legislation for joint operations centers among federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement, along with the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act, which enhances penalties for high-speed flight from law enforcement near borders. He led the Pay Our Homeland Defenders Act to ensure Border Patrol and DHS pay during funding lapses, and he stands against “defund the police.”

Religion Liberty/Free Speech

On faith and free speech, Rep. Ciscomani is a man of faith who values religious liberty, and he has publicly stated that he supports free expression for people of all faiths and beliefs. He recently hosted a pastor’s roundtable in Tucson to open communications with faith leaders, and his platform explicitly supports the First Amendment while opposing “cancel culture.”

Cost of Living

On the cost of living, Juan is a father of six who frequently cites high grocery, gas and housing costs as major problems. He advocates balanced budgets, government spending restraint, lower taxes and regulations, and energy independence. He supported the 2017 tax cut extension, measures eliminating taxes on tips and overtime, and child tax credit increases, and he cosponsored the Lower Grocery Prices Act. The Lugar Center and Georgetown University’s McCourt School recognized him as the most bipartisan member of Arizona’s delegation.

Election Integrity

On elections, Rep. Ciscomani supports strong voter ID requirements and voted for the SAVE Act and the SAVE America Act.
