Remembering Our Nation’s Law Enforcement Heroes During National Police Week

Safer Streets, Brighter Futures

May 16, 2025

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy proclaimed May 15th as National Police Day and the week it falls in as National Police Week.

As we’re set to close out the 2025 National Police Week, it’s important we pay special recognition to the police officers who have fallen in the line of duty.

Our America has shown unwavering support for our police by having Hometown Heroes rallies at multiple Town and City council meetings and backing legislation at the local, state and national levels that support police.

Earlier this month, our Arizona Grassroots Director Paul Parisi spoke at the Oro Valley Town Council to stand in support of a police pay raise during an impasse between the union and town officials.

It’s crucial that public officials, law enforcement, and community leaders engage in respectful, collaborative dialogue in order to tackle issues related to public safety.

It’s equally important that we remember the sacrifice that our law enforcement officials make to keep our communities secure.

Our America stands behind our law enforcement officials in support of safer streets and brighter futures.
