- Secured $4.2 million of Community Project Funding to replace aging Tucson Police Department vehicles and about $810,000 for Sahuarita Police Department radios.
- Sponsored and supported legislation for joint operations centers among federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement (e.g., elements of the FLASH Act), and the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act, which enhances penalties for high-speed flight from law enforcement near borders.

- Supported the 2017 tax cut extension and measures eliminating taxes on tips and overtime, plus child tax credit increases to help working families.
