This is what unity in the community looks like. On May 20th, the Our America Foundation’s Georgia chapter organized an event honoring the passage of S.B. 36, a bill preserving religious freedom for all Georgians.
Religious freedom is one of the core pillars of the Our America Foundation, and we have a full writeup that analyzes why the passage of this legislation was so important for all Americans.
In addition to honoring S.B. 36, the event featured a six-person panel of religious, political, and community leaders who discussed key action items coming up in the 2026 General Assembly Session.
Over thirty of our Hometown Heroes and other members of the community showed up at Tijuana Joe’s Mexican restaurant for food, fellowship, and community building.
Check out some photos from the event.

It’s critical to host events like this so members of the community can get together in person and celebrate our shared values. Our Georgia chapter looks forward to hosting more events like this in the near future.
