The cost-of-living crisis has made it more difficult than ever before to pursue the American Dream. That’s why on June 26th, OAF organized “From Wall Street to Main Street Generate Wealth Now Seminar” on financial freedom in College Park, GA.
The goal of this event was to educate members of our community with the financial knowledge they need to make decisions that will set them on the path to prosperity.
More than a dozen attendees braved horrific storms, hail, and power outages to hear from experts and community leaders on this topic.
Financial Freedom: Attendees in Georgia braved storms to hear from a financial expert about the keys to ensuring they’re economically independent.
The event was hosted by our Georgia State Director Carli Eli, and featured a discussion led by Rob McDuffie, a local business leader and financial expert. McDuffie talked about the multifaceted nature of personal finance, and discussed job/career income, 401Ks, Social Security, pensions, income streams, and other important topics related to becoming economically independent.
While one event won’t immediately change anyone’s personal financial position, you have to start from somewhere to reach your goals. Community members left this event feeling far more knowledgeable and empowered about their personal financial situation than before.
Financial freedom is one of the most important parts of the American Dream, and is an important goal for ALL Americans. We look forward to organizing more events that will educate our community about this topic in the future.
