Our activists hosted a highly successful Hispanic Heritage Month event on October 17th in Lilburn, GA to honor the incredible contributions of Hispanics to the state and our country.
Several dozen members of the community attended to celebrate Hispanic excellence, discuss the American Dream, and learn how they could get more civically involved.
Our Georgia State Director Carli Eli organized and hosted the event, which was a follow up to last year’s celebration.
Attendees heard speeches from several prominent state leaders, including Johanna Meija from the Office of Governor Brian Kemp, and Elvia Davila, a former candidate for office.
We were proud to host this celebration, and look forward to organizing more in the near future.
At the Our America Foundation (OAF), we believe that honoring your heritage is an important part of what makes our nation strong — and that our unifying identity as Americans binds us together.

Unity in the Community: Thirty community members attended a Hispanic Heritage Month event in Georgia organized by OAF.
In case you haven’t heard, we recently launched our new “American First” program which features video messages of people from all walks of life who emphasize their pride in our country.
