A core value of the Our America Foundation (OAF) is promoting assimilation, pride in America, and civic engagement.
That’s why we were proud to partner with the Foundation for the Restoration of America to host a “Citizenship Masterclass” for Lawful Permanent Residents from September 12-13, in Roswell, GA.
This class was attended by 23 future American citizens who reviewed a detailed civics curriculum, engaged in hands-on activities, and participated in mock citizenship interviews.
The event ended with a celebratory dinner where we were joined by Georgia State Senator Shawn Still, who delivered an inspirational speech which made all attendees feel welcome and appreciated.
Sen. Still made also took time for photos with each of the attendees as they received their certificate of completion.

All attendees left feeling more confident in their journey through the naturalization process. Our class drove home the point that with the right preparation, there’s nothing to fear about the U.S. Citizenship test.
Of equal importance, this class also helped strengthen ties and continued to create unity within the community.
OAF strongly believes in the American Dream and we were proud to support an event that helped Lawful Permanent Residents as they go through the process of becoming American citizens.
