Safer Streets, Brighter Futures

June 5, 2025

On June 3rd, Our America Foundation’s (OAF) Arizona and the Hispanic Liberty Alliance co-hosted a “Safer Streets, Brighter Futures Dinner” held at Opa Life Greek Café in Glendale.

An incredible 80 business and community leaders attended. Another group, Padres Unidos, helped out by providing complimentary dessert for all attendees.

OAF’s Arizona Director Paul Parisi and HLA Executive Director Monica Yellin both gave presentations about why combating crime is important for all citizens.

The featured speakers were Maricopa County’s Sheriff Jerry Sheridan and Deputy Attorney Ellen Dahl, who engaged in a Q&A session that focused on public safety.

Check out some photos from the event.

Attendees featured a number of community and business leaders, along with many of our local Hometown Heroes.

The spirit at the event was extremely positive and all attendees were in agreement that public safety is one of the building blocks to create a strong community.

A big thank you to the co-sponsors and speakers who helped transform this event into a focal point for community action.

OAF’s Arizona chapter looks forward to hosting more community events focused on public safety in the near future.
