Our activists in Wisconsin organized a “First Salt & Light Event” with the Wisconsin Faith & Freedom Coalition on January 29th in Milwaukee.
This was our first event in Wisconsin, and featured a dinner followed by talks from local leaders, including John Pudner of the Wisconsin Faith & Freedom Coalition (WIFFC), Pastor Paul Hoover of the Souls Harbor Baptist Church, Pastor Mike Larson of the WIFFC Board and Pastor, and Joshua Naponiello, our Wisconsin State Director.
The talks focused on religious liberty, voter registration, and Hispanic outreach. In total an impressive 115 individuals attended!
Broadening our Reach: Our Wisconsin activists worked with other groups in the state to discuss Hispanic outreach and the importance of coalitions.
Events like this not only help create a broader coalition, but strengthen ties with the local community and help get out the word so that our supporters are educated on issues that affect them so they can engage to make a true difference. This is just the start in Wisconsin, and we’re excited to grow in the Badger State.
