Looking Back at 2025

2025 was a year of real momentum for the Our America Foundation. From organizing on the ground and expanding into new states, to shaping national conversations and defending free speech, our team stayed active on every front. As the year comes to a close, we want to share just some of the many highlights that capture the impact you helped make possible.

Virtual Town Hall with Congressman Juan Ciscomani

We kicked off the year with a virtual town hall featuring Rep. Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ-6), a longtime ally and champion of the Our America Foundation. During this hour-long discussion, Rep. Ciscomani shared insights on the 2024 election, his priorities in Congress, and the growing cost-of-living crisis facing families across the country.

Through our Our America c4 efforts, we were proud to support Rep. Ciscomani in one of the most competitive congressional races in the nation—an election that helped determine control of the House. Events like this town hall are a key part of how we keep our community informed and engaged, and we look forward to hosting more conversations like it in the future.

Supporting Mission-Aligned Administration Nominees

Throughout the year, through our legally separate c4 entity, our grassroots activists stepped up to support several mission-aligned cabinet nominees. By encouraging supporters to contact their elected officials, we helped make the case for nominees who reflect our values and priorities.

We’re proud to report that every nominee we supported—Harmeet Dhillon (Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights in the Department of Justice), Eric Turner (Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development), Kelly Loeffler (Administrator of the Small Business Administration), and Lori Chavez-DeRemer (Secretary of the Department of Labor)—was successfully confirmed. Each has since validated that support by bringing principled leadership to their respective roles in the administration.

Making Our Presence Felt at State Houses

A core part of our mission is empowering communities to engage confidently with their government. In 2025, we did exactly that across several states.

In Arizona, our activists participated in a Prayer Walk at the State Capitol in Phoenix and organized a mock legislative session to help voters better understand how laws are made. In Georgia, our team took part in Latino Day at the Capitol in Atlanta, connecting directly with lawmakers and community leaders.

These efforts reinforce a simple but powerful idea: state houses belong to the people, our elected officials work for us (not the other way around!), and every citizen should feel welcome participating in the democratic process.

Fighting Back Against Censorship at the University of the District of Columbia

In July, we encountered blatant censorship when a previously approved debate on the American Dream at the University of the District of Columbia—a historically Black college—was abruptly canceled. A school administrator made clear the decision was based on our political views.

Rather than backing down, we took action. Partnering with our allies at Fair for All, we filed a formal complaint with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, alleging violations of Title VI and the First Amendment.

We also launched a robust public relations campaign, ensuring this story didn’t stay buried. Coverage and commentary appeared in Fox News, National Review, The Daily Caller, The Daily Signal, and other major outlets. Our complaint remains pending, and we continue to monitor the situation (and similar ones) closely.

Continuing to Fight on Proposition 312

Ahead of the 2024 election, through our separate c4 entity, we supported Arizona’s Proposition 312, a commonsense measure allowing property owners to receive tax refunds when local governments fail to enforce laws related to vagrancy and public encampments.

After voters approved the measure, we kept pushing. Over the summer, we launched a digital education campaign that reached more than 40,000 Arizona residents, explaining how they could benefit from this new law. Public safety and accountability remain central to our work, and we’re proud to have helped make Arizona communities safer.

Making a Splash in the Media

Our work in 2025 consistently broke through the noise. Local and national outlets regularly cited our initiatives and activism, helping us reach audiences far beyond our immediate network.

Our National Director, Gabriel Nadales, appeared on Fox Noticias to discuss our UDC complaint in Spanish and joined Fox News for an exclusive segment addressing the ongoing threat posed by antifa. His response to the assassination of political activist Charlie Kirk was also published by the Orange County Register.

In addition, OAF was featured in National Review, The Daily Caller, The College Fix, The Daily Signal, and many other outlets—amplifying our message and ensuring our perspective was part of the national conversation.

Launching our American First Program

This year, we launched our American First program to highlight a simple but unifying truth: there is strength and unity in our shared identity as Americans.

Participants from diverse backgrounds submitted short videos explaining why being American matters to them. We compiled many of these powerful responses into a single video, which has already generated more than 10,000 views on social media and continues to reach new audiences. We’re excited to expand this initiative in the year ahead – learn how you can get involved here.

Drawing a Crowd at Georgia State University

Reaching young Americans remains a top priority for OAF, and our November event at Georgia State University demonstrated what’s possible when we meet students where they are.

The event focused on recent Supreme Court rulings and featured Tahmineh Dehbozorgi of the Institute for Justice and Thomas Berry of the Cato Institute. More than 100 students attended, with many staying well after the program ended to continue asking questions and engaging with the speakers.

Moments like this confirm what we already know: students are open to serious, thoughtful discussions—you just have to invite them in.

Hosting Several Highly Successful Citizenship Masterclasses

Promoting assimilation, civic pride, and engagement is central to our mission. That’s why we partnered with the Foundation for the Restoration of America to host Citizenship Masterclasses for Lawful Permanent Residents.

In 2025, we held four classes in Arizona and one in Georgia. Each brought together dozens of participants who worked through a comprehensive civics curriculum, took part in hands-on activities, and completed mock citizenship interviews.

Attendees left more confident and better prepared for the naturalization process, and we were proud to support them on their journey to becoming American citizens.

Expanding our Efforts in New Target States

As we entered the final months of 2025, we accelerated our expansion into new states primed for our message.

In November, we welcomed Joshua Naponiello as our Wisconsin State Director and Logan Gifford as our Nevada State Director. Both bring strong grassroots experience and have already begun organizing events and building local networks. Next up will be our expansion into Pennsylvania and additional states as we continue to grow the movement.

Looking Ahead

This past year showed us that when we combine clear messaging with smart, tactical engagement, Americans respond. The American Dream is alive, and it’s worth defending.

As we head into 2026, we already have new initiatives and events in the works—and we can’t wait to share what’s next. For now, we wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year. Thank you for standing with us.
